Each company has gone through an intensive Export Coaching Programme by CBI, a Dutch government agency promoting imports from developing countries into the EU. They have received training in export management, marketing and design and are thoroughly aware of the requirements necessary to succeed in the European marketplace. Kees Bronk has coached these nine companies to develop their business and prepare for this trade fair. Irene Vermeulen has coached the companies in product development and marketing. Together, they connect global crafts exporters to EU importers, and will be hosting the CBI stand at Maison & Objet.
